German Commercial Agency and Distribution Lawyers
Distribution law with an engineer’s mind. We draft, review and enforce agency and distribution agreements involving Germany, Switzerland and the EU – before the German courts and in international arbitration. Several of our lawyers hold engineering or science degrees, so we understand your products as well as your contracts.

Why foreign principals and agents work with us
- Mandatory German and EU protection: agent indemnity cannot be excluded in advance, and choosing a non-EU law does not remove it for agents active in the EU (CJEU, Ingmar, C-381/98).
- Technical understanding: spare parts, service, successor products and software subscriptions often decide the size of an indemnity claim.
- Enforceable outcomes: we align governing law, forum and arbitration clauses so that judgments or awards can actually be enforced.
- Nationwide presence: head office in Hannover and branch offices in nine further German business centres.
